plazes:blog: Plazes goes mobile
Ever since we started Plazes there has been a strong demand for a mobile Plazer. The idea behind Plazes is that a Plaze is more than just a location. It is tied to some kind of network which is the basis for physicality. We strongly believe that this real-time presence component is the key to the success of Plazes. The downside is that until now you had to carry your laptop with you to make full use of Plazes. Not any more! With the smartphone client you can make full use of the power of Plazes, on the go!
plazes:blog about their new mobile services – and of course, the Motorola RAZR is nowhere near the compatible phones. Looks like I have to think about getting a Symbian phone once to get all this fancy stuff ...
And a sidenote
plazes are actually the first company to send out real, physical letters to inform you that you didn't win anything in their sweepstake. That never happened to me before -- after all, if I enter a sweepstake, I'll forget about it instantly, so I doesn't bother me if I don't hear anything about it afterwards. Just the fact that they decided to send out letters and apologising for just sending some stickers I deem a nice and friendly idea. Kudos!
